Upcycled sweater boots by Urban Threads
What do you get when you mix a cheap pair of flats, an old sweater, and lots of hot glue?
Step 1:
Chopped off the sleeves, turned it inside out, and formed it to my foot.
Step 2:
Hot glued it to a shoe, like so…
Step 3:
Flipped it right side out, and cut the bottom off the sweater to make a cuff..
Step 4:
Embroidered it..
Step 5:
Sewed it into a cuff that would flip out over the boot..
And now you have…Sweater boots!!
I’ll make that boot as soon as possible:)
Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori paints three-dimensional goldfish using a complex process of poured resin. The fish are painted meticulously, layer by layer, the sandwiched slices revealing slightly more about each creature, similar to the function of a 3D printer.
Cheong-ah Hwang uses paper to make cool three-dimensional sculptures.
The artist likes to create art from paper because it is versatile and people use this material every day.
Japanese artist Yuki Matsueda creates unique three-dimensional sculptures.
Amazing creations look like framed objects with one or more 3D elements that appear to be trying to escape.
